Found a trick for organizing my pull list that finally stuck

I kept forgetting which issues were coming out each week and would end up buying doubles or missing stuff. Tried apps, spreadsheets, nothing worked for more than a month. Then a guy at my local shop in Austin told me to just use a small whiteboard on my fridge. I write down the next 3 Wednesdays and the titles I'm following. Takes me maybe 2 minutes after I get home. Has anyone else found a simple system that beats all the fancy tools?

Honestly that whiteboard trick is genius! I do something similar but I went a step further and color coded mine with those little sticky note flags. Green for must have first printings, blue for covers I really want, red for stuff I can wait on a trade. It sounds extra but it actually helps me focus when I walk into the shop and see a stack of new releases.

Ngl that color coded system sounds clean. My buddy Mark tried something similar but he went digital with a notes app on his phone. He had different folders for each publisher and a whole checklist for variant covers. Dude walked into Midtown Comics last month and spent 45 minutes cross-referencing his list while the store employee just stared at him. He still missed the new Ultimate Spider-Man #1 first print somehow.
