Can we talk about dropping $75 on single issues versus waiting for the trade paperback?
I got back into comics at my local shop in Portland about 4 months ago and I am already drowning in floppies. My pull list hit 9 titles which runs me about $75 a month, and half of them I never even reread. So I tried a new rule, I only buy singles for stuff I want to talk about weekly, everything else waits for the trade. It has been 2 months and I have saved close to $150, but now I feel totally out of the loop on my old Wednesday group chats. Anyone else made this switch and did the waiting ever stop bugging you?
