I just threw out $45 on a coffee gadget that was a total letdown
I got really excited about this new hand grinder I saw online, the 'Bean Crusher Pro'. The ads made it look like it would give me cafe-level grounds at home. I saved up and bought it for $45, which felt like a lot for me. After using it for two weeks, I realized the grind is super uneven, no matter how I adjust it. My pour-overs kept tasting bitter and weak at the same time. I even took it apart to clean it, thinking that was the problem, but it just made a gritty mess. Now it's sitting in my drawer and I'm back to using my old, basic grinder. Has anyone else had a bad experience with a specific hand grinder and found a good one under $60?

Guess the "pro" in the name was just for the price tag.

What ads convinced you to buy it?

Honestly, ads never really convince me. They just make me aware something exists, then I go look up real reviews. It's not that deep lol.
