Cold brew vs espresso for iced drinks - which is really better?
Last month I made iced lattes with espresso. Tasted good but watered down fast. Then 3 weeks ago I tried cold brew instead. Stronger flavor but less complex. My buddy swears espresso is the only way for iced drinks. I think cold brew wins for sipping slow. What do you all lean towards?

Have you tried doing a mix of both? I started doing half cold brew and half espresso for my iced drinks and it's been a game changer. The cold brew keeps the flavor strong the whole time, and the espresso adds back that depth and richness I was missing. I definitely lean toward cold brew for long sipping, but that combo worked way better than I thought it would. My buddy still gives me crap about it though.

Honestly you're onto something with that combo. It's like how people think they have to pick ONE way of doing things but mixing methods gives you the best of both worlds. I noticed the same thing with @davis.ruby when it comes to how we approach problems at work too.
