Bought a fancy pour-over kettle, now my morning routine is ruined
I picked up a gooseneck kettle with a built-in thermometer for 60 bucks last Saturday. First use, the spout drips down the side every time I pour, so my scale is now a sticky mess. Has anyone else dumped their fancy gear and gone back to a regular stove top kettle?
Did you watch the same review video I did where the guy tested like five kettles and showed how the spout shape totally changes the pour? Mine did the exact same drip thing until I figured out you have to pour way slower and keep the kettle more upright. It takes me like two extra minutes now, but at least the counter stays clean. Sticking with it for now, but I get why people toss it and go back to the simple stuff.
