The free VS Code extension I ignored for months actually saved my JavaScript projects
I kept seeing this extension called Quokka.js in every tutorial and thought it was just hype. Last week I finally tried the free trial version and it runs your code as you type, showing values right next to each line. It caught a type error in my loop after 15 minutes that would've taken me another hour to find manually with console logs. Has anyone else had a tool they ignored way too long because it felt too good to be true?

Figure out why Quokka felt too good to be true for you and maybe that's the real lesson here, not the tool itself. Most times we skip useful stuff because we're scared it'll slow us down or change our habits, and that fear usually costs more time than the setup ever would.

Why is quitting a tool ever the real lesson though?
