Spent $60 on a Udemy Python course and it actually clicked for me

I was dead set against paying for any coding course. Thought everything was free on YouTube and why would anyone drop cash on something you can get for free. But after 4 months of jumping between tutorials and never finishing any project, I caved and bought a beginner Python course for $60 on a sale. The thing that convinced me was a friend who said if you keep switching resources every week you'll stay stuck forever. So I tried it, and the structure plus having a path to follow made all the difference. Finished the whole thing in about 6 weeks and finally built my first script that scrapes my local library's event calendar. Anyone else have a similar experience where paying for a structured course beat the free stuff, or did I just get lucky?
