I kept trying to write a counter variable inside my loop until a guy at a freeCodeCamp meetup in Austin showed me on a napkin that range(5) hands me the numbers one at a time, no counter needed, so now I'm wondering if there's a beginner guide that teaches loops by what they actually do instead of the textbook definition.
