The cheap probe I swore off now saves my setup every shift

I spent $120 on a tool setter probe 5 months ago and called it a gimmick after the first one broke in a crash. But after watching a guy in the shop next door run 30 parts with zero offset checks using the same model, I gave it another shot and my repeatability is way tighter than my old manual touch-off method. Anyone else flip on a budget tool they initially hated, or am I just cheap and stubborn?
