Shoutout to the Renishaw probe for beating my edge finder on 40 parts
I used to touch off every job with an edge finder and a strip of paper, and my scrap rate showed it. Bought a used Renishaw OMP40 off a guy in Wichita for $600 and my first setup run of 40 brackets came out dead on with zero re-cuts. The probe paid for itself in one week of not chasing tenths by hand. Anybody on here still touching off manually on repeat jobs, or have you all moved over by now?
