My new electric mower died after two months and the company told me to ship it back at my own cost.

I bought it to cut my lawn in Phoenix without gas, but the motor just stopped last Tuesday. Now I'm stuck paying over $50 to return a broken 'green' product. Does this kind of waste actually help the planet?

My buddy had the same thing happen with an electric trimmer. They made him pay to ship back a bricked unit, which felt pretty backwards for something sold as eco-friendly.

Heard similar stories about that, @maxt95, which is pretty frustrating.

My last printer died right after the warranty ended.
