That $200 'professional' knife set from Instagram is garbage, save your money
Bought into one of those influencer ads with the magnetic block and the rainbow Damascus pattern. Wanted something flashy for the new place. Six months later the "high carbon steel" chipped on a bell pepper stem of all things. Sent them pics, they offered me 10% off my next order. A 10% discount on a knife that can't handle a pepper. I ended up just buying a single Victorinox for 40 bucks and it's been sharper for longer. Anyone else fall for this shiny social media junk and regret it?

Cringe so hard reading this cause I did the exact same thing last year. Spent way too much on a "chef's dream" set with the fake gold handles and now my cheap IKEA knife gets more use. At least we learned our lesson the expensive way, right?
