The day I discovered rice cooker oatmeal and my wallet said thanks

Last Tuesday I was out of everything except rolled oats and a sad apple, so I tossed them in my rice cooker with water and cinnamon, hit the button, and walked away. Ten minutes later I had the creamiest bowl of oatmeal that tasted like a $7 cafe order, and the rice cooker did all the stirring so I could pack lunches. Has anyone else used their rice cooker for stuff that isn't rice, or am I just late to this party?
