TIL the hard way that forum bump limits are real on this board

Ive been posting here for about 2 months and never hit the 5 bump rule until yesterday. I was trying to keep my sale thread near the top and got a warning message I didnt even know existed. Turns out bumping more than once every 24 hours gets your post hidden, not just flagged. I only found out because I checked my thread after lunch and it was gone. Has anyone else gotten caught by this or am I the only one who missed that fine print in the rules?
