The $60 she-shed speaker that only plays static now
Last month I got this little bluetooth speaker from a discount outlet in Dayton, Ohio because I wanted tunes while I reorganized my garden shed. It sounded great for like five days, then it started crackling every time I walked more than six feet away from it. Yesterday I finally opened the back panel and found the battery had swollen up like a balloon, that was fun. The shop said no returns after 30 days and I had just passed the mark by two days, naturally. So now I have a paperweight that smells faintly of burning plastic and I'm back to humming to myself. Has anyone actually gotten one of these cheap speakers to last more than a month, or is it just me falling for the same trap?
