The 1996 forum that still had every thread I posted back then
Was digging through an old hard drive from my parents' house last weekend and found a saved HTML file from a chatter lounge I used in high school. Turns out the site is still up, just frozen in time with zero moderation. I scrolled my old posts and saw I had 847 messages logged under a handle I completely forgot about. What surprised me is how much people actually read and replied back then, like full paragraphs of feedback on stupid topics. Anyone else ever stumble across their old forum fingerprints and feel weird about it?

Finding 847 posts under a handle you forgot is wild. I once found an old gaming forum where I had like 200 posts and every single one was me arguing about the best Final Fantasy game. The part that gets me is you saying how people wrote full paragraphs back. That tracks, because back then you had to actually sit at a computer to post, so people put real thought in instead of firing off one liners from their phone. The whole thing feels like reading a diary you didn't know you kept.
