Stopped into the Chatter Lounge on 5th Street last weekend and the corner booth finally got replaced
I used to spend most Sundays at that spot back around 2019, same worn booth by the window, and I walked in last Saturday and it's a brand new table with these weird little lights built in. I get that places have to update, but part of what I liked was how beat up everything looked, like it had some history to it. The drink prices also jumped about $3 since I last went, which kind of stung. Anyone else feel weird when a place you knew for years gets a face lift, or am I just being sentimental?
