Update: Met a guy at the gym who hooked me up with a side gig. Had to bend a rule, and my friends are judging me, but it paid off.

My cousin got a side gig from a gym friend too. He cut corners on some regs to finish quick. The payout was sweet initially, but it blew up when his boss found out. Your friends prob judge you cause they're worried about fallout. Rule bending might pay short term, but it can mess things up long term. Just my two cents, be smart about it next time.

Honestly, my last side gig had me bending a rule or two, and let's just say it DID NOT end well. The quick cash was nice, but the headache that followed made it totally not worth it. Sometimes playing it straight saves you a bunch of stress down the road.
