I thought the salsa guy at the Phoenix flea market was just being friendly, then he gave me his mom's recipe
Three weeks ago I stopped at a booth in Phoenix just to kill time while my wife looked at plants, and the guy running it started asking about my garden instead of trying to sell me anything. He ended up handing me a handwritten recipe for roasted tomatillo salsa and now I've made it four times, so what's the best chance meeting that turned into something you actually kept using?
