The day Cap'n Crunch's eyebrows got changed at the plant tour in Battle Creek
I took the factory tour in Battle Creek, Michigan two years ago and saw a wall of old mascot art, including two versions of Cap'n Crunch where the only change was his eyebrows. Half the group swore the angry brows made him tougher and sold more cereal, the other half said the soft brows made him friendlier for kids, and nobody could agree on which came first. So which matters more for a mascot, looking tough or looking like a friend?
