Serious question, did the Cookie Crook get quietly dropped and nobody in my house noticed for 2 months?
So my kid is 6 and he watches cereal commercials like they are cartoons, and about 2 months ago he asked me where the Cookie Crook went. I told him he was probably just on a break or something and moved on. Then I started actually watching the ads during Saturday morning and sure enough, no Crook, no Chip, just the Cookie Crisp box sitting there with the wolf and nothing else going on. I even dug through my old VHS of Saturday ads from 2003 to compare and the difference is huge, the Crook had way more screen time back then. My son now says the wolf looks bored, which honestly is a fair review from a 6 year old. Does anyone know if the Crook got retired for real or is he just on hiatus like the Trix rabbit was in the 90s?
