PSA: I counted 37 different cereal mascots in my pantry and now I can't sleep
Last weekend I lined up every cereal box in my cupboard on the kitchen table and counted 37 different mascots staring back at me. Half of them I couldn't even name, which made me wonder if cereal companies are just pumping out characters to fill shelf space. So here's the debate: are all these new mascots keeping the cereal game alive, or are the classics like Cap'n Crunch and Tony the Tiger the only ones that actually matter?
Waited, you had 37 boxes in your pantry at once? That is a wild amount of cereal for one person to own and I am honestly impressed by the dedication. Most of those new mascots are forgettable for sure, but a few weird ones like the cinnamon stick guy have grown on me. The classics still win though, nobody is topping Tony.
