Heard a guy at the supply house in Tulsa say to stretch tight before seaming, and it clicked
I was picking up tack strip last week and overheard two older installers talking about how they always power stretch the field before they even touch the seam. One of them said leaving slack in the middle is what pops seams 6 months down the road, not the seam itself. I tried it on a Berber job Saturday and the seam sat flatter than usual, so now I'm wondering if you all stretch the whole room first or work seam to wall like I was taught.
