Appreciation post: The weird 'carpet stretcher on wheels' trick my buddy showed me
I was helping a friend on a job in Tempe and he pulled out this old metal cart with a knee kicker bolted to it. I laughed and said it looked like a kid's science project. He used it to stretch a huge 20x30 room by himself, just rolling it along the tack strip while leaning into the bar. The stretch was perfectly even, no bumps or wrinkles. Has anyone else seen a setup like this, or is my friend just a mad genius?

Your buddy just reinvented the power stretcher, they've been around for decades.
