Serious question, has anyone else seen this new framing nailer from Harbor Freight?

I was on a job in Springfield last month and a guy on the crew brought one. It jammed three times before lunch and the depth setting slipped on a whole run of joist hangers. He said it was a bargain at $120, but the time lost fixing it cost more than that. What's your go-to for a reliable nailer that won't quit on a tight schedule?

Right? Mine's been solid too, just gotta hit that collar hard with a wrench to set it.

That's a fair point from robertb47 about the collar, but mine has been loose no matter how hard I crank it. It just doesn't stay put for more than a few strips. Maybe there's a bad batch out there.

Honestly, that sounds like a lemon or maybe user error. The one I've been running for six months on a big subdivision job hasn't jammed once. You gotta keep it clean and use their nails, the depth collar just needs a good crank with a flathead to lock it. For the price, you can buy two and still come out ahead of a big name brand.
