The recruiter who told me to take the logo off my resume.
I was in a panel interview at a marketing firm in Austin back in 2019 when one of the hiring managers leaned over and whispered that my fancy company logo on top made me look like I was still in training, which honestly stung for a second but then I realized she was right because it screamed amateur hour. Has anyone else gotten weird feedback like that from a stranger during an interview?

Yeah it's funny how those little signals we don't even think about can tell people way more than we realize. Feels like the same thing happens when people use their work laptop camera background at home or answer a call with "this is" instead of "hello." Little stuff like that just shouts where you're at in your career whether you mean to or not.
