Can we talk about how job hunting 10 years ago vs now feels like a whole different world
Back around 2014 I remember walking into places with a paper resume and actually talking to a manager. Now it feels like you just fire off applications into a void and never hear a word back. I applied to 60 jobs over 8 weeks last time I was looking, and got 2 callbacks, both from places I visited in person. I think the online portals and auto filters are the main reason things changed so much. Anyone else notice the difference or is it just me?
