I've got a classic Mustang that I need to store for the winter in my garage. I'm torn between getting a CarCapsule or just using a high-end breathable car cover. Anyone have experience with either? The upfront cost of the CarCapsule is steeper, but if it really protects better against humidity and pests, I'm willing to invest. Curious what you all think.

I switched to a CarCapsule a couple years ago and it's night and day. The constant airflow keeps condensation from building up, and the inflatable bubble actually keeps mice and dust off. With a regular cover, I'd still find fine scratches or musty smells in spring. It's pricey but totally worth it if you care about the paint and interior.

If you're just parking it in a clean garage, a good cover and some desiccant packs might be enough. I've used a Covercraft Noah for years on my Corvette and no issues. The CarCapsule seems awesome for damp basements or barns, but overkill for a climate-controlled space.
Another vote for CarCapsule. I was skeptical about the fan running all the time, but it's super quiet and my 80's Porsche comes out looking like I just parked it. The patented design really does make a difference—no flat tires or battery drain either since I put a tender inside. A cover just traps moisture.
