The old guy at the shop on Vance St told me to buy the cheap JIS screwdriver set, and now I owe him lunch
I was stripping screws left and right on a Canonet rebuild and he told me to ditch my Phillips set and grab the $14 JIS drivers off the rack, so I did. First screw came out clean in under 5 seconds and I sat there feeling dumb for fighting these cameras for 2 years. What tools did somebody talk you into that you should have bought way sooner?

Bought a set of Wera JIS drivers after watching a guy on YouTube rebuild a Nikomat. Should have done it years ago, back when I was chewing up screws on a Yashica. The difference is night and day once you stop forcing the wrong tool into the slot. Somebody at a swap meet finally set me straight and I felt like an idiot for waiting that long.
