PSA: a retired tech in Denver said my focus ring lube was too thick, and my rebuilds got smoother
He poked at a 50mm I'd just put back together and said "that drags, try the lighter stuff" so I switched on my next three lenses. Now the throws feel right and the glass tests clean, has anyone else had a grumpy old-timer save a job like that?
