Just finished my 500th drop in the same apartment complex

Honestly, I didn't even realize I'd hit that number until I was updating my log last night. It's the Oakwood Gardens complex over in Springfield, and I've been the main installer there for about two years now. Ngl, it's wild how knowing every single chase and wall cavity in that place has cut my average install time down to under 45 minutes. Has anyone else had a spot they've worked so much it feels like second nature?

Sounds like you own that place now.

I get what faith is saying, but owning the place sounds like a trap. Getting that fast and comfortable in one spot can make you lazy on the details. You might start skipping small steps because you're on autopilot, and that's how mistakes slip through. Doesn't that routine risk making you worse at new, unfamiliar jobs?

Ever notice how you stop double checking your own work after a while? I got so quick at my old job that I'd miss dumb stuff a new person would catch. That comfort zone totally makes you rusty for anything new.
