Found the fix for coax fittings that keep loosening on outdoor runs
Had a service call in Phoenix where the same customer lost signal 3 times in 2 months, all because the connector on the side of the house kept backing off in the heat. I started adding a small wrap of self fusing silicone tape over the fitting after I torque it down, and it has held through a full summer with no callbacks. Anyone else dealing with expansion and contraction killing your outdoor splices, or is this just a desert thing?
