Spent $310 on a used edge sander at a shop closing in Fresno, and it's the best money I ever put into my little garage setup

For years I was hand sanding every door and face frame with a pad sander, and my shoulders were paying for it by Friday. That old edge sander has a tilting bed and it flattened out my rails so clean that my glue ups quit showing gaps, which my customers noticed right away. Does anyone still hand sand everything, or did you all give in to the machines a long time ago?
