Hit 1,000 dovetail joints this week, surprised myself

I keep a tally sheet in my shop for every dovetail I cut by hand, mostly out of curiosity. Last Tuesday I hit 1,000 since I started counting back in 2019, which felt like a bigger deal than I expected. It was a simple cherry drawer box for a client in Portland, nothing special, but the number made me stop and look back at how rough my first dozen were. The pins still aren't perfect, but the consistency is night and day from where I started. Has anyone else tracked a specific joint or process over the years, and did the milestone hit you harder than you thought it would?

Numbers mean nothing when your pins still aren't tight after five years of practice.
