The free consult that ended up costing me 300 bucks
I went to a big firm in Fresno for a free consult about my denied claim. They spent 20 minutes telling me my case was solid, then hit me with a $300 fee to actually file anything. I walked, found a solo attorney who charged nothing upfront, and won my first hearing. Anyone else get bait-and-switched by the free consult pitch?
