Vent: my sister said to just scrape off the burnt part, so I did and the whole lasagna tasted like ash
I pulled a tray of lasagna out of the oven on Sunday and the top was straight black, and my sister goes "just scrape off the burnt part, you won't even taste it." That was a lie. I scraped maybe a quarter inch off the top and the whole thing still tasted like a campfire, so we threw out an $18 pan of food. Idk why I keep trusting her kitchen advice. Does anyone actually save a dish after it burns, or do you just toss it and order pizza?
