Burnt the garlic bread or served it raw? Picked burnt and my kids actually ate it
Last Friday I had two loaves of garlic bread going for dinner and the broiler got away from me on the top rack. The choice was pull it out pale and doughy or leave it 90 more seconds and let it char. I went with the char, scraped the worst spots with a butter knife, and told everybody it was "rustic." My 9 year old asked for seconds, so I guess blackened edges are a hit now. Has anyone tried just flipping burnt garlic bread into croutons instead of tossing it?
