Update: I swore off the carpool lane for 3 years, then a guy in a Prius got me to try it again
I drive 22 miles each way on I-405 near Renton and always thought the carpool lane was a trap, since I got stuck behind a slow van once in 2021 and swore it was never worth it. Then my coworker Dana kept bugging me to try it again, so on Tuesday I gave in and cut 35 minutes off my morning, which honestly made me feel dumb for all that time sitting in the regular lanes. Does anyone else have a road rule they made up after one bad day and stuck with way too long?
