Can we talk about going back to a plain grid after 2 years of dot grid?
I switched from a dot grid to a plain graph paper notebook in January because the dots kept pulling my eyes away from my handwriting, and the square grid actually made my habit tracker so much faster to set up. Six weeks in, I love how neat my weekly spreads look, but I keep missing the dots for freeform sketches and now I am stuck deciding whether to finish this journal or start fresh. Has anyone else made the switch between dot and graph grid, and did you end up going back?
Six weeks of neat weekly spreads and the dots still won, that is a classic journal betrayal. Finish the graph book with sketches in the margins and stop letting a piece of paper boss you around.
