Trimmed my grocery bill by $40 just from buying store brand spices

I noticed I was spending like $6 on a tiny jar of basil at the regular store, so I grabbed the store brand at WinCo for $1.50 instead. It tastes exactly the same to me honestly. Has anyone else switched to generic spices and actually saved noticeable money?

Just hit up the bulk bins at WinCo if you can, even cheaper that way.
