My spreadsheet fight with the electric company took three weeks
I got a bill from Georgia Power for $450 when my normal is $180. I spent hours on the phone, then had to go back through my own meter photos and their old bills. Turns out they read the meter wrong in January and it messed up the whole year. Has anyone else had to fix a utility bill that was this far off?

Had a buddy who went through the same thing with Comcast, they claimed he owed $600 out of nowhere. He spent two months sending them his old bank statements and screenshots of his payments to prove it was their error. Finally got it sorted but he says he'll never trust another bill again without checking every detail.
