My grocery budget broke after I switched to a cash envelope, and I only found out at the register
I started pulling $120 in cash every Friday for groceries, thinking it would stop me from swiping my card on stuff I did not need. On week three I got to the checkout at Aldi with a full cart, handed over my last $18, and had to put back milk, eggs, and a bag of rice while six people waited behind me. Has anyone else had a cash system blow up like this, or am I just bad at guessing what a week of food costs?
