TIL the dented produce rack at my Kroger in Dayton cuts my bill by about $30 a week
I always walked past that rack thinking bruised peppers were a waste of money, then a worker named Darnell told me to just roast them same day and they taste the same in chili. Last week I got 4 bell peppers, 6 tomatoes and a bag of mushrooms for $4.20 total and made a pot of soup that fed me 3 nights. Anyone else got a store section they hit first before the regular aisles?
