Spent $22 on a vacuum sealer at a garage sale in Toledo and it paid for itself in meat
I grabbed a used FoodSaver off a guy's driveway in Toledo for $22 about 4 months back, mostly as a gamble. Turns out buying the big family pack of chicken thighs when they're marked down and sealing them in pairs means I quit tossing slimy meat every couple weeks. Last month I saved about $35 just on chicken and ground beef that would've gone bad in the fridge. Curious if anyone here seals stuff like soups or beans, or does it only work well for raw meat?
