PSA: my uncle's 10 minute rule for lunch breaks turned out to be dead wrong
My uncle, who ran a hardware store in Tulsa for 30 years, swore that eating lunch in exactly 10 minutes and walking around the block for the rest kept him going all day. I tried it for two weeks and felt like a zombie by 3pm, so I switched to a full 30 minute break with no walking and my afternoons got way better. Did anyone else get handed a weird break rule by an older coworker that just did not work for you?
