Why does nobody talk about the guy at the swap meet in Tulsa who schooled me on quenching
I always dunked my blades straight down and called it good, until an old fella with a bucket of oil pointed out I was getting a hard spine and a soft edge every time. He showed me the edge-first dip right there in the parking lot, and now I want to know, who else learned their heat treat from a total stranger?
