Stopped watching shows after midnight and my 3 season slump finally broke
I used to start new shows at 11pm and then wonder why nothing stuck with me. Four months ago I switched to watching one episode with dinner, around 6:30pm, and I actually finish stuff now. In the past 10 weeks I got through The Bear, Shogun, and 2 seasons of a British crime drama I kept bouncing off before. The trick is your brain holds onto story better when you aren't fighting sleep, so the cliffhangers pull you into the next episode instead of just making you tired. Started logging what I quit and it was 9 shows in one year, all started late. Does anyone else watch better early or is that just me?
