My brother in law swore I should skip season 1 of The Wire, he was dead wrong
He told me at a barbecue in Reno last June that season 1 was too slow and I should just start at season 2. I did it his way and was lost for about 4 episodes, nothing made sense with the Barksdale crew. Started over from the pilot and blew through all 13 episodes in 9 days, way better than anything he recommended. Anyone else get steered wrong on where to start a show and have to double back?
