Showerthought: my morning shower routine was wasting 10 minutes a day

Last Monday I timed myself from stepping in to drying off and it was 22 minutes. I cut it down to 12 by just turning the water off while I soap up and scrub, no more standing there zoning out. Has anyone else tried the navy shower thing and actually stuck with it?

...and here I was proud of myself for getting my shower down to 15 minutes. 22 minutes though, that's like a whole Netflix episode. I tried the navy shower thing once, ended up shivering like a wet dog while I scrubbed my left armpit, then gave up and stood in the hot water for another ten minutes. Now I just accept I'm a water bill and move on. Did you actually stick with it or did you cheat and let the water run for a little extra rinse time?

A 15 minute shower is already pretty good, wendy, don't sell yourself short. The navy shower actually works better if you wet down, turn off the water, soap up, then turn it back on just to rinse - no need to shiver the whole time.
