PSA: my 12 year old alarm clock finally died and I miss the dumb thing
The clock radio on my nightstand gave out about ten days ago, right in the middle of the night. No beep, no static, just dead. I got it back in 2013 at a yard sale in Akron for 3 dollars, and it has been waking me up every morning since. My phone alarm works fine, but I keep tapping the screen half asleep and hitting snooze by mistake. I ended up late to work twice last week because of it. I know it is just a clock, but something about that loud buzz and the red numbers felt more honest. Does anyone have a plain old alarm clock they still trust, or should I just stop fighting it and learn to use my phone?
